Vince Clarke has announced that he has started his own record label, VeryRecords, with the first release, a single from a collaboration between Clarke and Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll, scheduled for June.
The single, ‘Better Have A Drink To Think’, will be released on 3rd June and is taken from the duo’s forthcoming album ‘2Square’ and is the first release from the newly formed VeryRecords label. Clarke and Hartnoll have composed and recorded eight tracks for the album in the style of ‘Home House’, a new electronic sub-genre which is defined as ‘music you can dance to, in the privacy of your own living room’.
