Andy recently completed a series of interviews for several UK radio stations to promote the single "I Could Fall In Love With You".

One of the interviews was conducted by John Marshall for Lincs FM. John was a good sport and asked Andy some questions sent to him by Erasure fans.

Erasure will be embarking on a standalone tour in the UK and Europe later in the year (after the North American / Canadian "True Colors" festival).

This 15 city nationwide tour, presented by Logo, kicks off Gay & Lesbian Pride Month on June 8th at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The concerts will feature five hours of nonstop music with other exciting special guests appearing on select dates throughout the tour including Rufus Wainright, Rosie O'Donnell and Indigo Girls with additional guests to be announced.

The Human Rights Campaign seeks to improve the lives of GLBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. One dollar of every ticket sold will benefit the Human Rights Campaign.

The tour will also give Americans an opportunity to learn more about and become involved with the Matthew Shepherd Foundation and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG).

Cyndi Lauper has recorded a duet on a new Erasure song called "Early Bird". The song was recorded by Erasure during the recent recording sessions for their new album. When they decided to do the True Colors tour, it was suggested to Cyndi to do the duet.

Cyndi's vocals are superb and the track is a very r&b / Prince-y type of track from Vince and Andy - very different to everything else from the new album, and has been mixed by Gareth Jones.

The band have had an idea of an alternative video for "I Could Fall In Love With You" and they would like Erasure fans to be involved.

The idea is to feature a montage of "falling in love" moments, that tender kiss with a loved one...the warm embrace with a close friend...the gaze into your partners eyes that makes your heart beat faster before your lips finally meet... that kind of thing!

In order to include as many special moments as possible, we would like you guys to send in your very own "falling in love" moment for possible inclusion in the video. This can be in the form of a video clip or still image of that special kiss or embrace.

For still images you can email in practically any image format, such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF or BMP.

For video footage it is advised that you to send in video clips via the post (burn the footage on a CD / DVD disc or send in cassette copies e.g. MiniDV). Videos encoded in MPEG, AVI, Quicktime, WMV - practically any format should be fine.

Or you can use a web based file sharing service - upload the file and email the link to be able to download it.

If the video file is small (such as video footage taken via a mobile phone) then you can email the file. Please note that some internet service providers do limit the size of attachments that you can email.

The last day that submissions will be accepted will be Monday 19th March.

There is a production issue with the video for "I Could Fall In Love With You" and it won't be possible to resolve it before the manufacturing deadline for the DVD single.

Therefore in order to prevent the single release date from being pushed back, the DVD Single is being replaced with a 7" vinyl picture disc edition (MUTE366).

3 1/2 weeks before its release and "I Could Fall In Love With You" has been added to the BBC Radio 2 'C' playlist.

BBC Radio 2 is the most listened to station in the UK with approx 13.27 million listeners, which is a 15.8% share of the radio audience.

"I Could Fall In Love With You" has also been added to the Gaydar Radio playlist, beginning from next Monday.

Gaydar Radio is available via Sky Digital channel 0158 (UK), DAB digital radio (UK), Eurobird satellite (Europe) and streamed via their website.

Several weeks ago the video for the new single was being recorded and the EIS tagged along with its trusty camcorder to record the video shoot.

Now available is a short compilation of a brief behind the scenes clips of Andy and Vince.

The previously announced Mute Audio Documents release has had its release date moved to 7th May 2007.

To celebrate the launch of the MTV Networks channel "Logo" in Los Angeles, Andy and Vince will guest DJ at a Logo private party in LA on the 8th March.

Vince Clarke has written a song called "Let's Get Together" for Boston MA based preteen pop girl group Girl Authority. It is from their forthcoming album "Road Trip" (out on 13th March) on Rounder Records.

The tune is apparently one of the first Vince ever composed, pre-dating even Depeche Mode days, though some of the original lyrics have been ammended so that they are more appropriate for the target young female audience.

Also as an homage to that period, Vince has re-played his signature keyboard riff from 'Just Can't Get Enough,' as part of the chorus. The album version of "Let's Get Together" was produced by Grammy-Award winning producer Scott Billington.
