There's a new interview with Vince and Andy talking about The Innocents reissue featured in the new edition (October 2009) of UK music magazine The Stool Pigeon.
Tonight the remastered version of Phantom Bride - from the forthcoming EP - was played on Chris Evans' show on BBC Radio 2 in their 'Jukebox Jury' feature. Radio 2 is the most listened to radio station in the country and Chris Evans' show gets one of the biggest radio audiences in the UK so this was a fantastic opportunity to remind a lot of people how great Erasure are, and to spread the word about The Phantom Bride EP and The Innocents reissue.
Chris Evans played the single and then listeners were asked to text in if they thought the song was a hit or a miss... they overwhemingly voted it a 'scorching hit'! Thank you to everyone who sent texts to the show!
Mute records have released the tracklisting for the forthcoming 21st anniversary edition of The Innocents, and I think you're going to like it!
