A special Erasure mini-concert in support of their new album "Light at the End of the World" will be broadcast on "OutQ In The Morning" with Larry Flick Friday, June 1st at 9am on the US Sirius Radio channel "OutQ" (channel 109).

The 13 track edition of "Light At The End Of The World" featuring the bonus songs "Be My Baby", "I Don't Know Why" and "I Could Fall In Love With You (Jeremy Wheatley Radio Mix)" is now available via many of the iTunes stores, including iTunes UK, iTunes DE and iTunes US

Also of interest is that Erasure music (as well as all Mute/EMI artists) sold via the iTunes store is now available without DRM restrictions. This means that DRM free purchased music is no longer limited to the type of digital music players (iPod, Zune, PSP, Nokia Nseries, Sony S Series Walkman etc) or number of computers that the songs can be played on.

As well as the DRM restrictions being lifted, the audio quality has been increased due to the bitrate doubling from 128kbps to 256kbps.

For collectors that are interested in the EMI/Toshiba Japanese release of the "Light At The End Of The World" album, which contains the bonus tracks "I Could Fall In Love With You (Monteverde Extended Mix)", "I Like It" and the video for "I Could Fall In Love With You" (the "kissing" version), it is available from the HMV Japan online store.

The new album "Light At The End Of The World" will be "Album of the Week" on the UK radio stations Century FM and Real Radio next week. This will mean five tracks from the album will be played each day, Monday - Friday.

The stage set for the forthcoming Erasure tour will feature a number of plasma screens on stage plus a LED screen backdrop. Displayed on these screens will be a montage of various images and video clips, so this is where you come in!

As part of the range of clips to be shown, we would like to feature photos / video clips of yourselves in one (or more) of the following categories:

Waist up and head shots

1. Range of Emotions, e.g. happy, sad, surprised, crying etc.
2. Memories At Erasure Concerts, e.g. before, after or during Erasure gigs.

Full body shots and, or waist up and head shots

1. Galaxy Look, e.g. android, cyber punk, spaceman, metallic body suit, alien, sequin body suit etc.
2. Beautiful Freaks on Earth Look, e.g. John Waters, Divine, camp, fetish, punk, street tranny, drag feminine, drag with facial hair etc.

The examples are just guidelines - so feel free to make your own personal interpretations!

As the photos / videos will be manipulated etc, it would be ideal if they could be well light and preferably have a plain background to assist with the editing process.

Technical Specifications

Any photo image format is OK (from mobile phones images up to hi-res pro images). Video resolutions should be a minimum of 640x480 pixels up to HD standards.

Sony artist Joshua Radin has recorded a cover of the Yazoo song "Only You" for his new album (mixed by Imogen Heap).

The track is to be used for a major advertising campaign for JC Penny (a large department store chain in the US) which will premiere Thursday evening between 9:00pm - 11:00pm EST during Grey's Anatomy, as well as being shown in cinemas.

Joshua's version of "Only You" is available via the US iTunes store.

The ltd edition version of the new album "Light At The End Of The World" (which features twelve songs) will be in digipack packaging. The photos below show the artwork of the packaging and the booklet.

The standard edition of the album (with ten songs) will be packaged in a standard CD jewel case.

The Art Vinyl Gallery is a unique space designed to celebrate art & graphic design created specifically for vinyl records.

Between the 3rd - 16th May the gallery will be hosting a unique exhibition of ground breaking vinyl cover art from Mute, featuring artists such as "The Assembly" and "Depeche Mode". Further details are available here.

The Art Vinyl concept is to celebrate the synergy between graphic art and music through the use of vinyl records as a contemporary art form and interior design.
