Another clip from the forthcoming 'Union Street' album is now available.
The sample this week is 'Home' - a beautiful re-interpretation of the song that originally appeared on the 'Chorus' album.
The audio clip is available in Real and Windows Media formats in the Releases section.
Andy is interviewed in issue 119 (February edition) of Positive Nation magazine.
Few pop stars have the courage to speak openly about living with HIV. But last year, when Erasure singer Andy Bell told a journalist he'd been living with HIV since 1998, there was surprisingly little moralising from the tabloids and almost universal support from fans.
The full interview is available online at positivenation.co.uk.
A couple of copies of the early vinyl pressings of "Wild!" (complete with a bonus 12" of the "Blue Savannah" Der Deutsche Mixes 1&2 (XL12MUTE109)) were found in the Mute warehouse this week - and are available to buy via the Mute Bank eBay store.
Each copy is going for sale one at a time over the next few days, so it is not possible to provide a link to each item. However you can see all the items that they have available on eBay via this link.
Shown is the artwork for the 'Union Street' promotional CD (ACDSTUMM235).
Note: The promo artwork does differ from the finalised artwork used for the actual album (CDSTUMM235).
Further behind the scenes footage taken during the recording of 'Union Street' is available within the 'features' section, and is titled "Behind The Scenes (Part III)".
This new footage features Andy singing 'How Many Times', and is available in Real Media and Windows Media formats.
It's not quite finished yet, however here is part of the 'Union Street' artwork.
A short clip of 'Rock Me Gently' (from the forthcoming 'Union Street' album) is available within the releases section.
20th March (UK) sees the release of 'Boy' (CDMUTE359), a four track CD which features:
- 'Boy' (taken from Erasure's forthcoming acoustic album 'Union Street')
- 'Cry So Easy' (recorded for 'Union Street' but ultimately not included)
- 'I Bet You're Mad At Me' (live BBC Radio version)
- 'Jacques Cousteau' (a synth instrumental track)
A sixty second clip of 'Boy' can be listened to here.
International release dates are to be confirmed.
The North American release date of 'Union Street' has been confirmed as 18th April.
The 'Union Street' video footage that was published last week has proven to be very popular - so an additional clip has been added.
The technical quality of this weeks clip is poor (the sound level is very low with a high amount of background hiss), however the content *is* interesting (as it's an interview with Andy), therefore it deserves to be seen.
The clip is available in Real Video and Windows Media formats.
